The load capacity is expressed in kilograms per shelf. For light domestic use (cardboard boxes, small tools, books), shelving with a load capacity of up to 100 kg/shelf is more than sufficient.
For workshops or warehouses with heavy boxes, drums, tools or light machinery, we recommend shelving with a load capacity of 400 to 700 kg/shelf.
